Cake Serving Guide
The following is a guide only. You may want to cut the cake differently giving you more or less portions.
Dessert - Larger sized portions for a sit down function where everyone will be served the cake as dessert. You will need enough portions for everyone attending the function.
Coffee/Party - Stand up party event where the cake will be passed around as finger food and not everyone will take a piece. The cake may also not be the only dessert at the party.
Cut the cake into slices
Standard cake size is four layers
Approx 6" in height
Dessert Portions - 1" x 2" X 6"
Coffee/Party - 1" x 2" x 3"
Cut Dessert portions in half

6" Round Cake
14 - 28 portions
7" Round
17 - 34 portions
8" Round
24 - 48 portions
6" Heart
10 - 20 portions
9" Round
32 - 64 portions
